Retailer – Gasp – prolongs PR disaster with poor communication skills

A trendy Melbourne clothing retailer – Gasp – has stoked a PR disaster on two fronts: one, directly through the abrasive in-store behaviour of one of its staff members, the second through its inept – and grammatically challenged – communications response. Even when they took to social media to try and better manage the issue, their response broke all the rules of good crisis management; they banned comments on their Facebook page, then deleted the page entirely – inviting ridicule indeed.
