And Facebook ad revenues take a hit due to customer unease that they’re metaphorically brushing shoulders with Far Right politics (the British National Party) says Auntie Beeb. As a result of buying ‘bundled’ advertising packages First Direct, Vodafone, Virgin Media, the AA, Halifax and the Prudential have all pulled ads saying they’re unhappy with the associated placements.
Laughably given last weeks BA shenanigans, Virgin says it needed to protect its brand (wot, like…stitching up customers on air taxes then grassing up BA for doing same was brand protection??)
