Reputation management; Heather Mills, Mrs Conrad Black and Ben Cousins

Swoosh, thunk, swoosh, swoosh, thunk; that was the sound of Heather Mills PR reinvention as she pluckily trod the boards of ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Did her gutsy performance win her favour in the court of public opinion? Well, as in her divorce case, the jury is still technically out. Natalie Hanman’s blog has an interesting piece on it.

Mrs Conrad Black tries a new, four-letter approach to media relations; calls a journalist a ‘slut’ and ‘vermin’; she should know as she’s an ex-journo herself!!

And Aussie Rules loses another of its star performers to alleged addiction problems, while the image of the game disappears farther down the gurgler; great insight from The Age’s Caroline Wilson.

  1. Re Cousins; Collingwood captain Nathan Buckley reminds all stone throwers (like me) not to get too comfy in our glasshouses; “…if any one of us had our lives laid bare, it would be pretty ugly reading at times…even the best of us make mistakes.” Story carried in today’s Australian.
